Not included: door supply and full varnish or paint stripping back to bare wood, which is quoted separately after we see the door.
Most Dubai apartments and villas have flush or panelled timber doors finished in white or off-white enamel that yellows, chips and scuffs over a tenancy. We repaint the door leaf on both sides, the frame and the architrave in one visit, matching the existing colour or switching to a new one. Repainting is also the fastest way to meet a landlord’s handover standard without replacing doors.
Exterior doors in Dubai face direct sun, 45-degree summers and salt-laden coastal air, which fade and crack ordinary paint within a year or two. For front doors, patio doors and side doors we use exterior-grade, UV-resistant enamel or outdoor wood paint, treat any swelling or raised grain before priming, and seal edges and the bottom rail where moisture gets in. Many villa communities have approved exterior colour palettes; we can match your existing colour or help you choose a compliant shade.
A faded or chalky garage door drags down the whole villa frontage. We repaint metal, timber and composite garage doors after degreasing, rust treatment where needed and priming, using heat-resistant exterior paint that will not soften on a south-facing door. Garage door painting is quoted after photos because sizes and materials vary.
PVC and laminate doors can be painted when properly prepared. We abrade the surface, apply a bonding primer and finish with enamel so the paint does not peel. The same process works for kitchen cabinet doors and built-in wardrobe doors, which is a fraction of the cost of replacing them. Cabinet and wardrobe doors are priced per door after we see the kitchen or room.
Skirting boards and architraves collect scuffs from vacuums, furniture and mops. We sand, fill, caulk gaps against the wall and repaint skirting per room, which is the finishing touch most wall-painting jobs miss.
Light sanding and priming over a sound existing finish is included in the standard price. If a door has thick, cracked or flaking layers of old paint or varnish, it needs stripping back to bare wood before it can be repainted well.
