Air duct cleaning is the mechanical removal of dust, sand, fibres, mould and bacterial film from the supply and return ducts, grilles, diffusers and internal components of an air conditioning system. In Dubai almost every apartment and villa runs on ducted AC: chilled-water fan coil units (FCUs) in towers, or ducted split and package units in villas. These systems run nine to twelve months a year with the windows closed, so whatever settles in the ducts is recirculated through every room. Dubai’s fine desert dust and seasonal sandstorms make the build-up faster than in most cities, which is why ventilation cleaning is a routine maintenance item here rather than a one-off.
AC Cleaning, Repair & Installation
Professional AC duct cleaning and sanitization service in Dubai to remove built-up dust and help keep your indoor air cleaner and fresher.
Duct repair, duct insulation or re-sealing, refrigerant gas top-ups and AHU cleaning for central plant (quoted separately for commercial sites).
A one or two-unit apartment takes about two to three hours; a four-unit villa takes most of a day. You can stay home during the work.
Once every 12 months is the baseline for a Dubai apartment. Clean every 6 months if someone at home has asthma or allergies, you have pets, you live near a construction site or on a lower floor facing the desert, or the unit is a holiday home with high guest turnover. Always clean before moving into a new property and after any renovation or fit-out.

Care N Clean charges AED 332 per fan coil unit in apartments and AED 428 per unit in villas, VAT included. A typical 1-bedroom apartment with one or two units costs AED 332 to AED 664; a 3-bedroom with four units costs AED 1,328. Commercial premises are quoted after a site survey.
About two hours for a studio or one-unit flat, three to four hours for a two or three-unit apartment, and most of a day for a villa with four or more units.
No. AC servicing checks gas, drains and electrics and usually wipes the filter. Duct cleaning removes the dust inside the ductwork and cleans the coil and blower, which servicing does not touch. Most homes need both: servicing twice a year and duct cleaning once a year.
A clean coil and blower move air more freely, so the unit reaches the set temperature faster and runs less. The saving depends on how dirty the system was; the bigger benefit is usually airflow and air quality.
Yes. Every supply and return grille and diffuser is removed, washed and refitted as part of the service.
Dubai homes do not have furnaces; heating, where fitted, runs through the same FCU or ducted split system. We clean that ductwork in the same visit, so a separate heating and air duct cleaning service is not needed.
We use an anti-microbial fogging agent intended for occupied buildings. Rooms are ventilated after fogging and you can re-enter once the technician confirms, usually within 30 minutes.
Our technicians follow the NADCA source-removal method (mechanical agitation with negative-pressure extraction). Ask us for our current certifications when you book.
